Nowruz was born out of a simple but powerful belief: that people, regardless of where they come from, have more in common than what divides them. We are a group of creatives, athletes, and dreamers based in Apeldoorn who refuse to look away from the world around us — locally and globally. Our team is young, diverse, and driven by a genuine desire to make something meaningful.

We believe that sport, storytelling, and creativity are among the most powerful tools we have to connect people and create perspective. Whether it is a young woman finding her place on the football pitch through House of Nûr, a group of young people from Apeldoorn experiencing a community on the other side of the world, or an audience in Amsterdam watching a film about the Maluku Islands for the very first time — these are the moments we work for.
