In a time of increasing division, our organization aims to connect people from diverse backgrounds through creativity, sport, and fashion. Stichting Nowruz creates documentaries and carries out projects in places that rarely make the headlines. SC Nowruz is an indoor football club in Apeldoorn that is about far more than winning games. Together, they share one mission: building bridges.

Whether it is a young woman finding her place on the football pitch through House of Nûr, a group of young people from Apeldoorn experiencing a community on the other side of the world, or an audience in Amsterdam watching a film about the Maluku Islands for the very first time — these are the moments we work for.
Nowruz was born out of a simple but powerful belief: that people, regardless of where they come from, have more in common than what divides them. We are a group of creatives, athletes, and dreamers who refuse to look away from the world around us — locally and globally.
