About the programme
Are you between 16 and 30?
Then we’re looking for you.
Then we’re looking for you.
SC Nowruz is launching a new creative programme for young people from Apeldoorn. For six months, you will learn one of four creative disciplines at a professional level — completely free. You will work alongside experienced coaches, use professional equipment, and contribute to real SC Nowruz projects: our football events, documentary films, and international trips.
Every Sunday we play futsal together. During the week, we work on the creative project. After 80 hours, you are trained and ready. The best participants receive professional assignments at SC Nowruz — and the chance to travel abroad on one of our international projects.
The four tracks
01
Track 01
Photography
Coach — Dani Schaufeli
Learn to capture moments that tell a story. From match photography at SC Nowruz Team 1 to documentary reportage during international trips. Dani Schaufeli has been behind the lens at every major SC Nowruz project — from Togo to the Moluccas. He teaches you not just technique, but vision.
02
Track 02
Videography
Coach — Terence Mayimona
Terence Mayimona shot the footage behind Building Blocks of Hope in Togo, Salam Sarane on the Moluccas, and Children of Srebrenica in Bosnia. You learn how to film with purpose — how to follow a story with a camera and bring it to life.
03
Track 03
Editing
Coach — Artillio Foort
The edit is where the story comes together. Artillio Foort teaches you how to cut, colour, and shape raw footage into something that moves people. You will work on real SC Nowruz content — match recaps, documentary cuts, and social media edits.
04
Track 04
Vlogging
Coach — Jorrel Herboldt
Jorrel Herboldt shows you how to document moments authentically — behind the scenes of matches, events, and international travels. You learn how to build an audience and create content that resonates on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
How it works
Every Sunday
Futsal & movement
We come together every Sunday to play futsal, connect, and build team spirit. Sport and creativity go hand in hand at SC Nowruz — always have.
During the week
Work on the project
Every week you work on your track with your coach. Real assignments, real feedback, real growth — building towards the big international project.
After 80 hours
Trained & ready
Once you have completed 80 hours, you are officially trained. The best participants receive professional assignments at SC Nowruz events and projects.

Why SC Nowruz
Who we are
More than a football club
SC Nowruz was founded in April 2023 in Apeldoorn. In two years we grew into the largest futsal club in Gelderland — 207 members, 20 teams, active in 12 countries. We connect sport, film and culture to build bridges between people.
Our films
Documentaries that reach the world
We made Building Blocks of Hope in Togo, Children of Srebrenica in Bosnia (NPO1), and Salam Sarane about the Moluccan community (Felix Meritis, Amsterdam). These are the projects you will contribute to.
Our journey
12 countries. One mission.
From Togoville to Srebrenica, from the Moluccas to Morocco, from Palestine to Portugal — SC Nowruz travels with a camera, a ball, and a story to tell. Through Our Eyes participants are part of that journey.
Our reach
Built in Apeldoorn, seen worldwide
1.5M+ TikTok views, NPO1, IMDb listing. A local club with a global reach — and we want you to be part of building the next chapter.
