A festival. A promise kept.
From 10–15 June 2026, a team from SC Nowruz travelled to Togoville together with Stichting De Thuishaven and Make A Kid Happy to organise a children’s festival for the children of De Thuishaven.
The focus was simple: joy, connection, and attention. We hosted sports and games, let the children be truly children for a day, and collected their personal wishes — wishes we then tried to fulfil together with our partners and supporters.
Tariq “Cookie” Osaro joined the trip, giving a kickboxing clinic to the young people of the SC Nowruz Football Academy in Togo.

With the list in hand we go into town for bicycles, footballs, clothes and school supplies.

A day of football, games, music and food for all the children of De Thuishaven.
