Three chapters. One journey.

We have invested a lot of time and effort into making this documentary, in which we showcase the culture and history of Morocco and highlight various important topics.

We tried to get in touch with the Jewish Moroccan community in Fez, but unfortunately, this was not possible. Nevertheless, we were able to present their stories through historical archive material. We also took on the challenge of capturing the harsh and unfair life of hashish farmers in Ketama, and we follow Ridouan in Al Hoceima, where he shares his personal story about the oppression of the north and its consequences for the region and its people.

01 · Fez
The Jewish Moroccan community We tried to get in touch with the Jewish Moroccan community in Fez, but direct contact was not possible. We presented their stories through historical archive material — a community whose presence shaped Moroccan culture for centuries.
02 · Ketama
Hashish farmers in Ketama We took on the challenge of capturing the harsh and unfair life of hashish farmers in Ketama — a region in the Rif mountains where generations of families have been caught between poverty, tradition, and the impossible choices it forces.
03 · Al Hoceima
Ridouan — the oppression of the north We follow Ridouan in Al Hoceima, where he shares his personal story about the oppression of the north and its consequences for the region and its people — a voice that deserved to be heard.
04 · SC Nowruz
The journey is the film The title says it all. For SC Nowruz, the process is inseparable from the result. The connections made, the trust earned, and the stories heard — that is the real documentary. The film is just what remains.
