This past winter, SC Nowruz organized a series of futsal clinics at the Eligant Lyceum in Zutphen. During five sessions at the Hanzehal, we trained 18 students aged 12 to 14 in the basics of futsal — from passing and positioning to game insight and teamwork.

Our trainers Arda, Dangelo and Jevon led the sessions with energy and clarity, focusing on improving skills while keeping the atmosphere positive and competitive. The goal was simple: help the students become better players and enjoy the game.

What stood out most were the smiles. The enthusiasm on the court, the way the students celebrated goals, encouraged each other, and kept asking when the next session would be — that’s what it’s about. Football brings young people together in a natural way.

For Nowruz, initiatives like this are important. It’s about being present, investing time in youth, and creating moments where they can develop themselves through sport. The clinics in Zutphen showed once again how powerful football can be in bringing energy, joy and connection to a group of young players.
