Colombia: Somos El Futuro
In February 2026, we traveled to Colombia with a group of 25 people with three main goals:
To organize a street football tournament for young people in the barrios of Medellín
To raise funds for Camila, a girl from La Honda who dreams of being able to play football like any other child
To create a documentary about our journey and the hidden stories of La Honda

In February 2026, we organized the Somos El Futuro Cup in Medellín, bringing together eight teams from different barrios. The goal was not only to play football, but mainly to connect young people. Thanks to our sponsors, we provided prize money for all participating teams. We also joined ourselves with SC Nowruz, representing a team from the Netherlands.

Camila — one year. one dream. one chance.
Camila is a 13-year-old girl (at the time of our visit) who has been dreaming for years of one thing: being able to play football at a competitive club like any other child. During our trip, we managed to raise €5,500 for her. This covers her transport, football kit, club fees, boots, and other basic needs for one full year.

Together with several videographers, we worked on an extensive documentary releasing later. Different people share their personal and hidden stories about their connection to Medellín, La Honda, and why they do what they do.
