On Thursday, March 5, 2026, we will screen Salam Sarane at Museum Sophiahof in The Hague during a special film and talk evening as part of Generasi 3.0.
Salam Sarane is a story born from a personal journey to the Moluccas, where we traveled with seventeen young men to meet different communities and experience firsthand the centuries-old concept of brotherhood between Muslims and Christians โ known as Pela Gandong.
During this evening, the film will be followed by a conversation about how to portray communities with care, honesty, and respect. Together with photographer Maarten Tromp and documentary filmmaker Stacii Samidin, we will reflect on representation, responsibility, and the importance of telling meaningful stories. The conversation will be moderated by Julia Jouwe.
We hope to see you there. Click here to buy tickets.
