SC Nowruz is launching a creative programme for young people from Apeldoorn. Together we work on Salam Sarane 2.0 — our next major documentary project in the Moluccas. Whether you are drawn to photography, videography, editing, or storytelling — you will develop real skills, on a real project, with a real audience.
You will learn how to work with a camera, how to shape a story, how to document moments that matter. Everything you create feeds directly into the documentary. This is not a workshop — it's a production.
After 80 hours, you are ready. The best participants have the chance to travel to Maluku, Indonesia — December 2026 — and become part of the team on the ground.

Brotherhood in the Moluccas.
In 2023, SC Nowruz travelled to the Moluccas to make a documentary about brotherhood between Muslims and Christians on the Maluku islands. Seventeen brothers. Two faiths. One story. The film went viral — 1.5 million views on TikTok — and screened at the Moluccan Film Festival at Felix Meritis, Amsterdam. Now we're going back. Bigger. Deeper. With a new team.
